Moldoveanu Peak (2,544 m / 8,349 ft) situated in Fagaras Massif is the highest peak in Transylvania Mountains. In Romania there are more than 20 peaks above 2500 m and this is your opportunity to reach three of them. All three in just one week. Fagaras, Piatra Craiului and Bucegi Massifs are the three most different destinations we are offering you, thinking about the views, the rock types, and all these in just one week-time.

Programme:
Note: The itinerary for every day is subject to minor changes upon weather conditions.

1st day:
Arrival at Otopeni Airport, Bucharest. Transfer to Balea Lake, beautifully laid in the Fagaras Mountain.
Accommodation: Balea chalet.

2nd & 3rd day - Fagaras Mountain:

Next day back to ridge trail to reach the highest peak in Romania: Moldoveanu Peak (Alt. 2544m). We continue the trail, descending to Simbata Chalet where we stop after up to 8 - 9 hours walk. During these two days we step into the land of red dear and marmots and we have the chance to see beautiful landscapes on both sides of the mountains: Transylvania at north and Walachia at south.

4th day - Romanian Village:
In the morning we climb down the mountain for about 2 hours to the main road where from we use the bus for transfer. Short stop at Simbata Monastery and Fagaras town.
