At the far end of the Romanian Plain is the Danube Delta, the paradise of birds and ornithologists. The few villages are isolated from the world. The local population is very diverse - Russians, Ukrainians, Romanians and Turks contribute to the ethnic mosaic of the Delta. In this little inhabited region, where fishermen and birds compete against each other, we have started a project to reduce the absolute reliance of the locals on fishing. Accommodation in fishermen's houses, nice dishes prepared from fish and boat-trips through the birds' paradise is what we can offer. Booking this trip, you sustain our project.
