I am Tudor. Welcome. I enjoy moving every day in the city at the foot of the Tâmpe, where, by a happy conjunction, I have come to live. Of all the years that have passed since I’ve been going to the mountains (make that about 25 now) I’ve chosen Brasov with the surrounding mountains because it offers me a lot of perspectives and opportunities to spend as much time as possible outside.
Whether I choose a mountain bike ride through Postăvaru or Piatra Craiului, or a ride on easy, traffic-free roads through Țara Făgărașului everything seems close. And there’s no such thing as boredom, as I always seem to discover something new.
I can say that I have taken my passion for the mountains and cycling with me, especially as I can work as a mountain guide and cultural tour guide in scenic and culturally and historically rich areas.
As far as winter is concerned, Brasov with its Poiana is a great place to practice the winter sports you like. Not to mention ski touring in the surrounding mountains. You have plenty of places to actively discover.
